When you come to see us, you may have some questions that you are concerned about asking. Or, you may not want to honestly answer our questions. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when you talk with us.
We Are Human, Too
You may look at your dentist as someone who is untouchable and unfeeling. The fact of the matter is we are just like you. We have many of the same thoughts and concerns that you do, and we know what it is like to be afraid of a pending medical procedure. Don't let the white coat fool you; we are people, too!
We Need Honest Answers To Our Questions
When we ask you a question about your dental hygiene habits, or if we inquire about your diet, we have a reason for asking. We are not trying to embarrass you or make you feel ashamed; we really need the information!
It can be tempting to fib a little bit and try to hide the truth from us, but please don't do this! If we are to provide the best care possible, we need to have accurate and true information.
We Need To Know About Any Concerns You May Have
If you have a concern about your dental health or the course of your treatment, we really do need to know about it. We are not in your shoes and we don't know your body the way you do, so if you have noticed something unusual, please clue us in.
We are here for you! Above all, remember that we are here to keep your smile healthy and happy. We need your cooperation, though, so please contact us today and let's get started keeping your teeth strong.
